ABOUT MELINDA - PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Hello! My name is Melinda Golden. I am a central Florida-based portrait and event photographer.

I love capturing all the pure, joyful, colorful, candid moments life has to offer! As a hobby, I started taking pictures in high school, with my dads antique A-1 50mm Canon. In my early 20's, my hobby turned to passion as I began taking photos for my summer camp (you can view that gallery from my homepage).

After 10 years as a competitive gymnastics coach and acquiring a degree in acting, I have turned my passion into a full-fledged career. I am the sole photographer at Porter Camp and have been for nine years. I have assisted an amazing Wisconsin based commercial photographer for over two years and have been capturing seniors, families, individuals, and events all along the way.
